Dr Doberck (in parag. 10 of 6624) alluded to the desirability of arranging for meteorological observations on the Coast of China, so that he will not be likely to raise objection to Mr Price's proposal that he should spend the time, while the Observatory is being completed, in visiting various stations to negotiate the scheme.
Dr Doberck is probably by this time cruising around on this mission.
